Jul 30, Sparrow Jane rated it it was ok This is the second Mary Higgins Clark novel I read after a long hiatus of her novels, and I have to say my expectations for this novel were high. It sounded interesting, and when my sister was reading it, she gave it high marks so did the reviews I read prior to reading this novel.

That should have told me that my expectations for this novel were too high. T This is the second Mary Higgins Clark novel I read after a long hiatus of her novels, and I have to say my expectations for this novel were high.

The story started out well, but as I kept reading I became more and more disappointed with it. From the start, I did not care much for the protagonist, Darcy… at all. There was just something about the way she came across. All three gave off the same but wrong vibe.

There are too many characters in this story and some of them had no big impact to the plot that it is obvious they were thrown in the story to be red hearings.

However, the constant fashion tidbits gets annoying in Loves Music, Loves to Dance after the first couple of descriptions. Overall, this novel was not one of my favorites. Too many characters take away from the story line, and, after awhile, it starts to become a dull read.

Also, if you have read just one of her books, you can immediately tell who the murderer is.
